Start your visit at Adventure Headquarters, where Chicago’s Urban Rangers will help you chart your trek into the city.
Enter the Chicago Cultural Center at 77 E. Randolph Street, turn left into the visitor’s center, and feel your adrenaline rise as you walk into this colorful command station—where you’ll find the city at your fingertips.
Urban Rangers
To help jump-start the action, Urban Rangers will offer 30-minute adventure itineraries around the 7 Chicago—A Great Urban Adventure themes: the Blues, Culinary Delights, Greening, Jazz, the
Lakefront, Mexican Culture, and Wicker Park. Once you complete your adventure, return to Adventure Headquarters to collect your Adventurer pin.
Collect all 7 pins, and win an eco-friendly Adventure bag for your next excursion.
When you’re ready to set out on your own, Adventure Headquarters is at your service. Visualize adventures, pinpoint possible destinations, and plot your next route on a large map. Research your options at the “reference center.” Scan the message board, where visitors describe their adventures and recommend favorites.
Return to Adventure Headquarters throughout the summer to leave your own comments for fellow adventurers, and to let us know about your discoveries.
